It's another job.

Updating your social media accounts seems like an easy task, but doing it well makes it another job. Hours of planning, editing, and scheduling make social media accounts hard to keep up with.

Social media accounts are great for staying in touch with family and friends. It is great to be able to "like" "add" and "follow" anyone that you want, but in reality, you need them to follow you, too. What did we do before social media? How did people know we existed and what about all of the pictures or proof that we (businesses) can do good job? Word of mouth is great, but having a great social media takes it to a whole new level. In 2024, if we can't Google, Facebook, or Instagram it we don't always believe it. In my opinion, opening the conversation about our businesses and then have our social media accounts to "prove" our work is one of the best ways to build and drive clientele.

We are a very, very visual people now. We love to be able to see the proof in the pudding that we do a good job. Our social media accounts are there to do exactly that, be the proof. However, how we present ourselves on social media makes the difference.

*Updates

*Passion

I believe that if we have PICTURES of our current work. If we continue to UPDATE our pages with our newest content and show PASSION for what we are selling or servicing, then our clients will request that passion, too. It isn't always easy to target an audience we might feel like we don't connect with, but it is something that we have to evolve and learn to do. Making sure that we are following current trends and staying relevant in people's algorithm is essential to stay high on our clients and future clients' feeds. However, making sure that we are not sacrificing our personal and professional beliefs must stay at the front of our social media conscience minds at all times.

Our world is changing and making sure our passions are always reflected in our businesses (word of mouth and on social media) is something we can make sure never changes.
